Someone is very creative. I love it!

    did this actually happen? All I can find online about it is the original techfaux article and a great many people linking to it who clearly believe it to be true. There’s no mention of the event on PETA’s website (although considering how embarrassing this would be for them that’s almost understandable) but it just seems a bit far-fetched that even a bunch of crazies like peta would be dumb enough to protest an event without bothering to check up on its context.

    Techfaux is a fake stories site as far as I can tell. Very funny and very creative though.
